- IMPORTANT: While CROSS has officially ended support for Windows XP, if you must update Windows XP in order to migrate off an old system, be sure to download and run this script FIRST, then restart your PC before continuing: Script to Set Java Options for XP If you cannot update an older system, call for support in transferring your database(s) to a newer system. We can transfer your data easily to your new computer.

Q: Is this the correct download for my system?
A: If you are unsure, just call CROSS Systems, Inc. at 1-877-615-7230 (press 2 for support) for any installation assistance. We will request your ID and Password to connect to your desktop and then handle the remaining steps to install and configure this version of CROSS Library and to give you a quick tour of how to use it.
Q: My tech person needs a bit of assistance for recommended install procedure on a legacy 32-bit system. Is there a link where we can find that?
A: Yes! We have modified our detailed legacy Windows 32-bit installation steps to include recommendations (some steps are no longer needed and documented but remain as a reference for our tech people for special situations). Since our newer CROSS Library installer (above) works so well, most people will not need this level of detail except to work around issues with some antivirus software, configure specific multi-user access, set default databases, etc.
