Not sure how to renew? (A few tips to help…):
- First, when you click the RENEW NOW LINK HERE, the site tries to get you to the correct place. Generally, we recommend you do that only once in the renewal process, that is just to help you get started in the right direction when you land on our site. If you renewed with this account previously and have not cancelled your subscription in the past, you should see your subscription status displayed. If so, proceed to step #4 below.
- Using the link above, you may be directed to your RENEWAL ORDERS, if any, if one has already been generated for your subscription and is pending payment, it should be displayed at the top of the list. That is on the Orders page of your account. If so, please click the PAY button on an order if it is in Pending Payment status. If you see no PAY button, please call 1-877-615-7230 and Press 1 for Sales, and we can email you an updated order which has the expected Pay link near the top of the email. That email of the Order Details with the Pay Link will get place your order into the your shopping cart and get you to the checkout page where you can fund your order.
- Otherwise, you may see your Subscription displayed as a list item. In that case, you may click the VIEW button over to the right of the list item which shows you the DETAILS of your subscription. After you click the VIEW button, you may scroll down and click the blue RENEW NOW button to generate a renewal order (in your shopping cart). Then, you click the cart icon and Proceed to Checkout to complete the renewal process. After you submit your order, we can work with it directly.
- SPECIAL CASES: If your site login (email) has changed (or where you may be the new librarian, treasurer, administrative assistant, etc.), you may not see either your previous subscription or renewal order(s) made with a previous site login for your organization. In that case, please call 1-877-615-7230 and Press 1 for Sales, and we can migrate any previous subscription you might have to your login along with any related renewal order(s) and email you the related order which has the a Pay link near the top of the email to help you complete the checkout for the renewal. (It may be helpful if you have the name of the previous librarian and any previous Subscription#, Customer#, and especially phone numbers associated with the account for verification.)
- If our system does not detect the subscription on your account, you will be directed to the SIGNUP PAGE for the CROSS Library Subscription. If you are sure you do not have current subscription, it is fine to sign up by adding that subscription to your cart and checkout your cart to get started.
If you click the RENEW NOW LINK HERE and see no orders, click here to check if your subscription has not yet expired. You may renew it early if you wish. Otherwise, it is likely that you do not have a subscription on your account yet–You will need to sign-up using this link to get one. (Consider SPECIAL CASES listed under step #4 above (that another associate at your organization may have previously registered the subscription under their account using their email address). In this case, call for sales assistance as directed in Step #4 above and we will help you locate and transfer any existing subscriptions you may have to your new account so you can renew without unnecessary confusion. Note: We cannot transfer subscriptions between organizations–the subscription must remain in the same organization.)
New customers:
- If you just registered for your first time on this site and do not yet have a CROSS Library Subscription, you will need to sign-up using this link to get started (All first-time online renewals), otherwise see the links below for your existing account status (including orders and your existing subscription and options to renew).
How do existing customers renew?
- Ready to renew now? Click the ‘Renew Now’ button on your current subscription shown at this link. (for both on-time or early renewal)
- Looking to pay a renewal invoice? Click here, then click ‘Pay’ button on your most recent order to checkout and pay.) (may be used for on-time or expired subscription renewals)
TIPS: If any of the following are true, please call our number for Sales Assistance (we may need to reset your order to ‘Pending Payment’ so you can pay it online):
1. your renewal order is ‘On Hold’ and you cannot see how to pay it.
2. you receive an error when clicking on the ‘Pay’ button on an order
3. you cannot add a Subscription to your cart after using the links above
Tip concerning Subscription Cancellations: If you think you made an ordering mistake, please don’t just cancel everything! (We do not automatically bill your Card by default, and we do not offer refunds for subscription purchases. If you selected automatic recurring billing on your subscription, you may review that setting on the ‘My Subscription’ link on this page. You may change it as-needed. Cancelling a subscription only prevents you from receiving your next renewal invoice.) If you intend to continue using your CROSS Library subscription, cancelling only serves to make things more difficult to fix!
