At times error #500 (out of memory error) can occur when printing reports (At times this issue only affects certain reports while others function normally.)
KNOWN IMPACT: Most often Windows 10 (at times Windows 7)
CAUSE: A few printers, when set as the default printer in Windows, can raise this error in the Crystal Reports printing framework used by CROSS Library.
SOLUTION: Change default Windows printer to any other printer. In Windows 10, some helpful ‘track default printer’ function in Windows can change your default printer without you knowing it. We also recommend you turn that function off.
Note: You may continue to use any printer you wish, the problem is ONLY with the Windows default printer setting!
